Hmm…first thing out of bed? Bleary-eyed, long hair in a rat’s nest, puffy face? Probably a 3. After a shower and bit of make-up (and caffeine)? I’d say about a 6.
I’m neither particularly pretty nor especially ugly, unless I take my clothes off. I’ve had so many surgeries that my bod looks like a railroad map, so the naked me is a bit on the ugly side. Maybe I could jump nude out of a cake at a convention of surgeons.
I made an SDMB thread asking people to rate my photo that was on Hotornot.com and I got mostly good responses and my Hotornot score was 9.9 but the same photo once before got me about a 5.
I came pretty close to winning the prettiest eyes and cutest boy “awards” at my school so I feel very confident about my looks but I wouldn’t say myself that I was particularly handsome, I’d rather have other people say that.
I personally look in the mirror and say well I have interesting eyes but don’t see myself as being any better off in the looks department than any other guy my age…so I’m cute and modest, some would say.
Well, I’ve always thought of myself as plain. I think I have kind of a big head, but I have nice hair and eyes, and I’m normal all the way around really.

In my childhood and early teens I had pretty low self-esteem (not just because of my appearance) and I thought I was too fat. I was just really unhappy with how I looked.
Starting in my mid-teens I began to tell myself I was pretty, I had a nice smile, and whatever. It took a while but it actually worked. I am now really happy with how I look and I think the added confidence also helps in how I look to other people.
One thing about how I look is that people ask if I’m 100% Filipina because some people think I look different. I like that.

So to answer the OP, No, thanks to self-therapy.
Hot, but it’s not the big advantage a lot of people make out.
I really look like a hideous little troll with a huge forehead, but using clever tricks of makeup, lighting, a padded bra, and whale-boned corsetry, I manage to make myself look like a semblance of a normal female.
BlackKnight, your scary picture is indeed scary, but your ugly picture is rather cute. 
On a scale of 1 to 10, I might be a 4: plain, a bit pudgy, and balding.

If I’m remembering you correctly from one of the picture threads, I can heartily confirm that no, you are most definitely NOT ugly. Quite the opposite.
It’s the Internet so…no. I’m like Brad Pitt, Colin Ferrel and Tom Cruise all rolled in one.
I guess in real life I’m kind of good looking in a regular guy kind of way.
I do have pretty good hair though.
