It is that time for the 3rd annual Bus Family trip to Arizona to [del]visit my mom[/del] watch spring baseball.
The schedule is more or less this:

Oh, you need details, right?
So we fly in late Thursday night, March 6th, and that Friday (the 7th) go to a cub game. Friday after the game, we’re driving up somewhere Flagstaff-ish (still undetermined where exactly we’re staying) to see the Giant Hole in the Ground. From what I’m gathering, that big glass bridge is on the west rim, a fairly decent ride from the south rim.
My first plea for advice: Friday evening, Saturday, and part of Sunday before we drive back to Tucson later Sunday night. Where’s the area I want to be looking to stay? I’m not immune to driving a couple hours or so each day, but I’d like to be fairly close by.
In Tucson - we have pretty much any evening except Friday night un-booked. It’s me, the Wife, and the Kid, who is of legal drinking age so we can do an alcohol based establishment. Which means calling all Tucson area Dopers - let’s figure out a night to eat drink and stuff.
Also, if by chance anyone’s going to the 3/7 cubby game, let’s meet, because god knows I can miss a cub game pretty much without pain.
OR, any actual baseball fans who might be at the Sox games in Tucson on 3/10, 3/12 or 3/14 - let me know that too.
There, the itinerary. Have at me.
