Mr. Bus Guy is in town touristing, and we’ll be getting together tomorrow night at the Red Garter Saloon (my favorite because it’s around the corner from my house!) at Speedway and Country Club (between the Circle K and the credit union) at 7:00.

I am happy to report that the Short Notice Mini-Dopefest Tucson 2008 was a resounding success. As always a pleasure chatting with Mr. Bus Guy, his wife, and The Kid. They’re very pleasant people. I laughed, a lot, and that’s always nice. I am not so happy to report that living newly within walking distance to your favorite bar can lead one to drink more than one is used to, at least on a Monday night. Ah, live and learn.

Sorry to have missed Y’all. I remember a certain Tusconian Trublmaker at the last but one Phoenix Dopefest who was a gas to chat with, and it’s always good to meet another Doper IRL. My next Dopefest is likely to be one of the LA ones.
