As I said here, it’s not as if Karr had a choice about what class he flew in. Nor did he initiate a “confession.” If you want to be angry at anyone, perhaps the Thai police, who couldn’t keep quiet for a week while the US decided whether they might have the right guy, and who made up quotes from him, would be a good target.

However you seemed to strongly indicate a belief that this was a resounding smackdown of the the people who suspected the Ramseys themselves. They are no more (nor less) debunked now than they were the day before Karr surfaced.
You may still send a resounding *FUCK YOU * to those eager to buy into the conspiracies based on cultural/class distaste for the Ramseys’ lifestyles, though (placing a child in kiddie pageants is not making her rape bait, and being unemotional in public is not a crime).
Actually, the Ramseys were cleared a long time ago so those people were already debunked before this. My “Fuck You” to the media was not meant to be an indication that I though Karr was guilty but only to express some satisfaction that they had to ate least ENTERTAIN another idea. Plus, this guy was claiming he’d done it, plus I’m not in the media.

The Ramsey’s were cleared by the jackass DA who just showed the world she is a total jackass when she released a statement concurring with a federal judge in Atlanta who, in dismissing a civil lawsuit against John and Patsy Ramsey, said there was no evidence showing the parents killed JonBenet and abundant evidence that an intruder killed the child.
The Boulder police and the FBI have neither cleared nor “debunked” the Ramsey’s as suspects.

[Based on what I know I would not convict the Ramsey’s in a Court of Law but until someone who knew the Ramsey’s in Boulder, and their home, and had a murderous or pedophilic past, or future after '96, and had the opportunity to kill JBR surfaces, I think John and Patsy should rightly remain under the umbrella of suspicion]
The judge said there was no evidence at all that the Ramseys did it and that an intruder was the most likely theory.
So no, the Ramseys are not prime suspects and accusations that any evidence says otherwise have indeed benn debunked. There is no more evidence against the Ramseys than there is against the Pope.
Fine, that still means that the DA didn’t consider them to be likely suspects and that the evidence points to an intruder. Public suspicions of the parents have at least been shown to be groundless, even if the FBI hasn’t made it “official.”
