Arrested Development

She usually came off as pretty needy and desperate.

Real Estate Agent: “You should be aware I’m expecting multiples today”
Lindsay Bluth: “Well, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t think that was a possibility”

To be fair, Lindsay had a pretty good shot with that high school kid (his name escapes me) until Maebe sabotaged it.

Steve Holt!

Don’t get me wrong, I still thought it was funny. It’s just surprising she didn’t come across a man as “needy and desperate” as she was.

Well, she came across that homeless bum, but then he turned out to be Tom Jane.

I just re-watched these recently and I laughed as hard as I did the first time. An absolutely brilliant series.

I love GOB so damned much

“Franklin said some things Whitey wasn’t ready to hear.”
“Gob, weren’t you also mercilessly beaten outside of a club in Torrance for that act?”
“He also said some things that African-American-y wasn’t ready to hear, either.”

“Alright Gob, how did you make the yacht disappear?”
“Well Michael, a magician never reveals his I SANK IT!!!

“Uncle GOB, was Aunt Lindsay ever pregnant?”

“Oh, sure, dozens of times.”

I don’t know where he gets these irrational fea- GET AWAY FROM THE STOVE - YOU’LL SET YOUR HAIR ON FIRE!!!

Careful with the insults or the mods will put the invisible locks on the thread.

Quick, let’s get out of here before they step out of the shower for a cigarette!

-Joe

That’s not my trick, Michael.

ON THE NEXT ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT

That’s my illusion!

“I wanted to share my Pop Secret with you.”

Doctor: “He’s going to be all right!”
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have to go to Sacremende with the debate team.

Why am I not going under water!?!? DEAR GOD!! WHY AM I NOT GOING UNDER WATER?!?!?!?

Michael: [to Gob] Get rid of the Seaward.
Lucille: I’ll leave when I’m good and ready.

Minor Nitpick. The boat was called “The C-Word” which ads another layer to an already clever joke.

Minor nitpick 2:

It was the Seaward in the episode with that joke. It was changed to the C-Word in the final episode.

I don’t care for GOB.

We loved her just as much as any of you normal kids. More than GOB.
