Arthritis and radiators

Are radiators “good” for people with aches and pains like Fibromyalgia or the aging type of arthritis? Or should they use portable “air blown” heaters?

Blown hot air tends to be very dry and can cause other problems. My wife has Fibromyalgia and has problems with body temperature regulation. She will want the ceiling fan on when I feel cold and will be wrapping up when I am stripping off.

TBH - I doubt that the source of the warmth makes a lot of difference, except that the sufferer needs to be comfortable with it.
