Reminded me of Mick Jones’ post-Clash band Big Audio Dynamite’s The Globe, which sampled The Clash’s Should I Stay or Should I Go?

Matthew Fisher (ex- Procul Harum) wrote “Going for a Song,” singing about a song he was tired of playing all the time. It shouldn’t be hard to guess which song he sampled.
The Beatles sampled “She Loves You” in “All You Need Is Love.”
This was before sampling was a thing (but AFTER the Beatles had made music that used a primitive kind of sampling in “Tomorrow Never Knows”), but there’s the chorus of “She Loves You” in the outro of “All You Need Is Love”.
Strongly disagree. Sampling is the contemporary term for a type of synthesis that’s as old as musique concrete.
