As a kid, did you love or hate taking a bath? And your kids?

My two year old runs over to the tub the moment I turn it on to stick his hands in the running water and start playing. Once it’s full enough, he gets plopped in, I wash his hair first to get the unpleasantness out of the way and the rest is mainly play time (with a little washing on my end).

I don’t remember having a strong opinion on them as a kid. I remember playing in the tub and “bath time” often involved a half dozen Star Wars figures who found themselves in situations where the ‘bridge’ (tub edge) over the water was covered with ‘slime’ (shampoo) so I guess I liked them well enough.

Loved them, and so does Celtling.

She hates washing her hair though, despite an enormous amount of care on my part. Still, if she won’t keep her chin up, there’s little I can do to keep the water and suds out of her face.

Same here. I have always hated having someone order me to do something that I think is a waste of time.

As a kid, I thought having a bath was a waste of time. And now, as an adult, sometimes my wife orders me to take two (or three!) showers in one day and it still puts my back up.

Been taking showers since I was 6 - possibly earlier, but I can’t remember. Enjoyed them, on the whole, other than the fact that bedtime followed shortly after.
