Seriously. Always wanted to hear Pinky for myself.

I worked with a guy that would often do a Pinky Lee impersonation. Imagine a guy dancing and using that voice in a sedate ad agency. And he’d often end a conversation with “And don’t forget, kids, you, too, can win a Pinky Lee Houndstooth Cap!” But he’d add a lisp: “Hownjztootsh Cap”, with plenty of saliva.

That video nswers the question of whether ADHD people could hold down a job in the 50s…
He starts asking a little girl’s mommy if she’s hungry and suddenly interrupts himself with “Let’s go to the Pinky Lee Shoe Store!”

Yes, I’m old enough (66) to remember Pinky Lee and his moronic song. It’s too insubstantial to become an earworm, thank goddess.

I remember him; he replaced Colonel Clown locally.

I used to watch Pinky Lee every day; I think it was on just before Howdy Doody. Jesus, children’s programming was stupid back then.
