I had a request to start this for anyone who has questions!!!
Bruna:cool:
Which organization are you with? I was a YFU person!
Are you a Brazilian exchanging somewhere else, or a student exchanging to Brazil? Please clarify.
What were your motivations to become an exchange student? What were your fears about living in the U.S.A.? What languages do you speak?
What are you studying? Any major differences between U.S. schools and Brazilian schools?
Some questions:
- Why would anybody want to live in Brasilia?
2)is the reale going down to 5/US dollar? - what is guarana made from?
- are the girs in Rio still wearing the “fio dental” swimsuits?

I can answer at least one of your questions. Gurana is made from guarana.
As for the living in Brasilia part, probably for the same reasons that somebody would live in Kansas or any midwestern strate. Brasilia is a fairly developed city with a good infrastructure. I could imagine far worse places to live.
