I don’t see a problem with that. I’ve talked to a few of my fellow officers, and none of them thought a lot of stickers and decals would make them more likely to stop a car.
You might want to pass on the “Cops are wusses” decals, though.

Hey Badge i just wanted to ask you a question. Say if you pulled someone over and saw 2 or 3 marijuana seeds in there seat. You searched their vehicle and found no other marijuana. All you had was the 3 seeds. Could you and would you arrest someone for the seeds?
seeds aren’t illegal, are they?
While it is illegal and I could make an arrest, I probably wouldn’t. Of course, if this was a person with a long criminal history, known drug dealer, etc., I might go the other way. But as a rule, I’d just toss the seeds.
I know a lot of other cops who would certainly make the arrest, though.
So it IS illegal? Are you sure?
Competence at the range is not enough. As the officer stated, “out in the wild,” under heavy stress with your life on the line, accuracy drops significantly. Unless you have a large sample of experience shooting in the real world under heavy stress, I think any predictions you might make on your accuracy when it counts based on your accuracy at the range are going to be very optimistic.
Oh, yes. The Uniform Controlled Substances Act makes possession of seeds (unless they are sterile and cannot germinate) illegal.
Here are the Washington laws on this, and these come from the Uniform Controlled Substances Act, which is nationwide.

Strange. I started a thread a while back on the mail-order-pot-seed business wondering how they got away with it… and everyone told me that it was legal as long as you didn’t plant them.
Okay, I got a tough one for ya.
I collect hats, and hat pins. Wanna trade?
Yours will be brand new, and need some breaking in, and will be a lot less blurry though.
Tripler
I’m an engineer, not a photographer.
Eh, how 'bout the “Bad cop! No donut!” sticker?
:d&r:
I have one more question for you Badge. I’ve always wondered about this. Say you were behind some teenager at the gas station and he buys a blunt wrap. Would you follow him and try to bust him or just leave him alone? This is assuming that you were on duty.
Hypothetical question, possibly for the lawyers.
Say that I am speeding, and get pulled over. I therefore know that the policeman who pulled me over was speeding, too. Is it not my obligation to the Law to perform a Citizen’s Arrest upon him/her, and take him/her to the proper authorities?
Has anyone ever tried this? What would happen if someone did?
That depends. What’s a blunt wrap? Never heard of it.
No. First, he might not be speeding, since he could have gotten you on radar or lidar. Second, the law allows the police to violate certain traffic laws in the performance of their duties, so long as they are not disregarding due care and caution. Third, citizen arrests can only be performed for felony crimes, not infractions. (again, this is for Washington state. I assume all states are basically the same on the secondpoint, but I’m sure the last one varies widely).
If someone were to try it, the officer would explain the law (though he might just laugh at him or her). If he or she tried to physically arrest the officer, they would be arrested for assault and/or obstructing a law enforcement officer.
Hey Badge a blunt wrap is just a cigar paper that is sold around here frequently used to roll marijuana or “tobaco” in. And I wanted to say that I think its really cool of you to answer everyone’s questions.
Thanks, Badge. Oh, well. It would have been really funny if it were possibe.
Hey Badge care to tell us some of your “funny stories”?
I know every Oficer has them. I hear all kinds of them from the various oficers I run across thru work.
Have you ever read “The moon is always full” and “Black friday coming down” Deputy Hunter out in Knoxville Co?
Care to share a work related funny story?
Sorry to have commented on things that have happened to me in an aggressive manner. Guess I am still a little pissed that my stuff got boosted… I was just letting folks know that in this area of the country that disregard of those arrested, personal property did happen.
Did not mean to answer for ya… I am glad no one else is making statements of personal experience… We still have a few home grown police officers hear about and they might bend the rules a bit more than officers in Washington State. YMMV
Badge, have you ever had to “wet sheet” an off their meds person while at a domestic dispute?
Or how do you handle a person who is harming themselves and the others around them when you are unlucky enough to be at a domestic call solo? Or do they refuse domestic calls unless two offices can go?
If they are “out there” and flopping around and harming themselves even though you have them cuffed, what do you or are you supposed to do?
i’ve always wondered about this:
how far do you have to go to be arrested for public indecency?
is your car private property?
specifically, can i be arrested for driving in the nude? amazingly, i have been pulled while driving in the nude and arrested on unrelated charges (unpaid traffic ticket -> suspended license). the cop just told me to put my clothes on. was he just being nice, or was i legal? for the record, it was 2 in the morning, not broad daylight. it was a license check that i drove through. when i got in the cop car (of a a different cop) and asked him if i was being charged with nudity, he asked me why would i be charged with that (i had dressed before he saw me). he didn’t seem to mind me showing him why [/slight hijack].
and if it is illegal, what about women going topless? men can do it…
My question is: are police officers literally “untouchable” - in a physical sense, no matter what?
From what I’ve heard you can be arrested/charged for touching them on the shoulder, spitting on them, and so on… that’s all fine and good. My question relates more to self-defense in the following sense:
If another civilian is assaulting you, you can physically stop them, even rough them up a little to eliminate the threat; can you do the same if a cop is beating on you, or are you obligated to allow anyone in a uniform free range to continue stomping you to their liking for whatever reason they choose?.. and risk getting charged with assaulting an officer if you so much as grab at his nightstick or give him a shove while he’s swinging regardless of his justification?
Of course I’m not talking about good officers subduing a dangerous bad guy - unfortunately I’m talking about those rare times when it’s a bad cop giving out an unjust beating when it’s uncalled for as can happen now and then for various reasons.
Another scenario is in crowd control circumstances when lines of officers drive back protestors (usually), and attack straglers who tripped or are just sitting on the ground with batons. Is a civilian automatically destined to spend time behind bars if they hit a cop and manage to take away his stick just to make the ass-whooping stop, even if the civillian was getting the boots for simply being the wrong color/age in the wrong part of town or something else unjustifiable?
Again, should this question sound confrontational, I’m not trying to argue if cops should be allowed such leaway when performing their duty - of course it’s neccesary; I am asking about what you can do if you should ever find yourself being unjustly stomped by law enforcment whether by accident or on purpose.
