P.S.- I’ve seen Ben Jones (Cooter, and former two term U.S. Rep [D] from GA’s 4th district) on CNN as a political commentator a couple of times during the election. Surprise… he’s good! Comes across as intelligent, informed, and funny- I don’t agree with everything he says, but it’s clear he knows what he’s talking about.
I’ll try to pass that information along to my fellow fans.
The Dukes managed to help the alien (annoyingly referred to as “little cousin” throughout the episode) evade Boss Hogg who wanted to cash-in on the discovery. They returned the alien to Hazzard swamp and a lot of lights came on, indicating that his ship was there to bring him home. No anal probing took place on camera.
A friend of mine has all the episodes, and he discovered, with the help of freeze frame slow motion, that at the end of one jump where the General noses in at a pretty steep angle, you can actually see the hood fall off the car before they cut away.
Sorrell Brooke, who played Boss Hogg was an extremely intelligent man.

There is a Judd Duke?
Luke’s brother who was presumed dead (hospital fire?) but wasn’t. I actually saw that episode. Unlike most visitors to Hazzard he was a good guy (but then, he was a Duke).
Don’t have a question, but would just add, if you get a chance, check out the movie Moonrunners (1975). That’s the movie that would later evolve into the "Dukes."I have a copy
