Oh I’m a total K-State fan! It has mostly to do with the fact that I’m going to be a vet, and K-State has one of the best vet schools in the country.

Well it’s pretty corny here in August. It’s pretty corny any time of year actually.
Yes Kansas has forests - not a lot, and the forests are not pretty, but there is a lot of wilderness here.
No we don’t have mountains, but parts of Kansas are pretty hilly.
Not sure about the racial makeup of the entire state. Where I live its predominately white, probably about 5% black, 5% mexican, and a smaller percentage of others.
The biggest city is probably Kansas City or Wichita. Topeka, the capital, is pretty big too.
My town is pretty hickish, LOST of hunting and fishing around here.
It must be very hickish if people get LOST going hunting and fishing!

KC is basically on the Kansas-Missouri border. Technically it’s in Missouri, but here in Kansas, we like to claim it for ourselves I guess.
We live in color, but parts of Kansas are pretty dang old-fashioned.
We just had a tornado in our area a few weeks ago, killed 2 people I think. I have never seen a tornado, but they’re fairly common I would say.
I don’t particularly like The Wizard of Oz, it doesnt have that much to do with Kansas really.
Kansas was named from the Kansa Indians, I don’t know why Arkansas is pronounced the way it is.
The best reason to come to Kansas? It’s got to be the friendly atmosphere, especially in smaller towns like mine. Everyone is nice to strangers and everyone waves.
Kansas City has great shopping centers, lost of stores and malls.

We just got 6 inches of snow the day before yesterday. About a month ago we also got around 6 inches. Kansas weather is WEIRD. One day it’s snowing, the next day it’s 75 degrees, and that’s the truth.
Kansas is basically in the middle of nowhere, a good 6 hour drive from anywhere of real interest. I have been to the ocean 3 times.
If you wanna see members of the opposite sex in little clothing when it’s hot, just walk around the block and I’m sure you’ll see all you need to see.
Kansas isn’t totally rectangular, the top right corner is jagged, so it’s pretty easy to distinguish. Kansas has no state pride, so no business in their right mind would use the state as their logo. The Kansas flag was recently voted the ugliest flag out of all the 50 states!
I don’t think there’s been any sitcoms based on Kansas. I mean, there are much more exciting places than Kansas, right?
If I could change one thing about Southeast Kansas, I’d want it to be just slightly more urbanized. So maybe I can go shopping right here in my hometown instead of driving 2 hours to Kansas City.
