Mostly because a lot of the more recent ones have lacked originality and necessity.
When Esprix started his “Ask the gay guy” thread, it served a purpose. There still are a lot of misconceptions about gays, the gay lifestile (if there is such a thing), et cetera.
Somehow, I don’t see how “Ask the home owners insurance salesman” is really all that necessary. Or entertaining, for that matter.
But hey, as long as you stick to the rules of the board, knock yerselves out.

I would really like an “ask the orchard keeper” though I do understand it’s most unlikely.
I really need and could desperately use an, " Ask the caregiver thread".
I can understand why they aren’t the Mods favorites, but, I think the high value of the few far outweighs the lackluster entertainment value of the more numerous.
Y’know, I thought of perhaps starting one of my own, but then I realized that there are people here more knowledgeable / experienced in practically everything I could start one on.
So all that’s left is “Ask the Fat Chick With the big boobs”…think I’d get many takers?

Well, I had a suggestion to make upon reading the thread title. But then the OP said he didn’t want dumb ones so I wasn’t going to make it. Then everybody ignored the OP so I figured why not. But then Zebra took my idea and now I look unoriginal.
Oh well.
I wouldn’t mind seeing an “Ask Famke Janssen who has fallen deeply in love with WL” thread.
And playing the part of Ms. Janssen would be…?

I guess I need a comma in there to make sure it reads correctly (I don’t want people asking Famke about who else is in love with me. She gets jealous enough as it is!): “Ask Famke Janssen, who has fallen deeply in love with WL”
