Fuck that. If the elections were fair, there wouldn’t be a GOP to lose to. If the Dems “lose” (and I’m pretty sure they will), it’ll be because the GOP decided that Dems only get 3/5 of a vote.
If Trump wins with a smaller portion of the vote than his Dem challenger, then the Democrats need to hammer this point home with a largely unengaged youthful generation and get them to realize that they have the numbers to correct this situation. And if they control the House, then Dems need to continue pushing Don Beyer’s Fair Representation Act.
If the Don steamrolls his opponent, then they still need to do all the above. Though another four years with him at the helm may do the job for them.
