Click on “Locations” to find one near you. The Albuquerque chapter is fairly new and I’ve only been to one event. My brothers have been to two. They are a lot of fun and very informative. There’s another one tonight and we will definitely be there.
One of the speakers is Karishma Bansal, a graduate student at the Univ. of New Mexico. She’ll be talking about orbiting black holes. She is the first-author of a paper on the subject, recently published in The Astrophysical Journal.

It’s being held on the patio at Canteen Brewhouse, which has some excellent beers- and very good food as well.
