O.K. I’ll fess up: I already miss the little guy. Cruel fate his, to be banned whilst Dopers everywhere are festive and rejoice (well, a good number of them anyway). And this when - at least judging from his last post in the “Know ignorance, know peace” thread - he seemed (in his own peculiar way) intent on making amends - sort of - with his new, improved sig.
My question is: Why now? What was the catalyst? And, perhaps more importantly, what (psychological) impact will this have on his nemesis jb_farley?
The last thing I ever said to him was “SHUT THE FUCK UP!”
If it were anyone else, I might actually feel guilty in some way.
But hell, he was no Jack Dean Tyler. Now that guy had his arguments narrowed down! “Circumsion creates serial killers!” (anyone got the thread for that one? I know it was in Comments on Cecil’s Columns)
Peace was just a devil’s advocate, countering everything you said that disagreed with his own views, like the crank he was.
