No, she’s still rather hot. Maybe not insanely except due to her age, but hotter than many women younger than her, even including her teenage self. (I often cite her as someone who got hotter as she aged.)

I went with 70. It’s not impossible to go beyond that (Barbara Eden is 85, for instance, and Sigourney Weaver is 67 and still going strong), but even 70 is rare enough that it’d be quite the feat.

I’m not sure what Christie Brinkley has going on there. If you look at the one where she’s wearing the John Mellancamp shirt, her face looks youngish, but her hands look much older. Like whatever charmed pendent she uses to maintain her youth is wearing off and she needs to suck the life-force out of a young up and coming model/actress or something.

Being a perv might be one reason for finding a woman over 50 hot. There are many other possible reasons, including, for instance, that the woman in question happens to be Marisa Tomei.
I remember watching The Wrestler, where she plays a stripper who goes to work a party at (IIRC) a frat. The guys all make fun of her for being too old. And I’m thinking, WTF??? She’s Marisa Goddamn Tomei!!

I’ve noticed that, as I’ve aged, older women look better than I would have given credit 20-30 years ago.
And then you reach the point where you see a young 20-something and wonder what her mom looks like.
It’s more subtle than that, too. Like, when I was in college, I didn’t notice any particular difference between a 19-year-old woman and an early-30s woman. Nowadays, though, the early-30s women look about the same as they ever did, but the 19-year-olds look so young.

She probably never was ‘insanely hot’ in real life. Just an ordinary woman. She still has a good figure, looks fit for 52. But, people forget that Hollywood is a fantasy machine and that the women of Hollywood are dependent on heavy makeup, an expensive wardrobe, top of the line hairstylists, etc., to make them look good. The reality is very different than what we see in pictures and in the movies.
It’s funny how men, in particular, are swayed and sucked in by the Hollywood manufactured beauties. But it’s also sad because they learn to not appreciate what normal women look like.
