I’m going to be in Atlanta for Dragon*Con plus a couple of days before and after. Already have my side trip to Cook’s Warehouse planned, but I like to skulk around used computer and computer parts stores, too. Any recommendations?
Ground zero for those funky little computer stores in Atlanta Metro is Dawson Blvd. off of Jimmy Carter Blvd. close to I-85 north.
The first one you’ll see is Ginstar which doesn’t have a lot of used stuff but if you wander further down the road you’ll see more.
My info is a bit out of date but that’s where I’d start. (The opening of Fry’s a couple exits down hurt those guys.)

If that Fry’s Electronics store is anything like the ones in the Bay Area, I recommend a visit. It’s really impressive.
