Holy shit! Normally we only notice old scream queens dying in the news, but one dying and being unnoticed and turning into a mummy …:eek:
How freaking sad is it that she died and had no friends close enough to notice until a neighbor a year later notices?
I saw this listed on a MST3K website. It really is sad that no one even checked up on her for at least a year.
I read about this a couple of days ago. The article I read said Vickers had grown increasingly paranoid in the last few years of her life.
What amazed me was this (latimes.com):
“Susan Savage, an actress, went to check on Vickers after noticing old letters and cobwebs in her elderly neighbor’s mailbox.”
Doesn’t the mailman notice those kinds of things?
…but does he care?
