So who knew that the Peshmerga were a paper tiger force? When you see their videos, their soldiers are always fat old guys with grey hair and flintlock rifles.

American air-strikes have to mean American spotters on the ground in touch with air support, so I imagine there are American troops embedded with the Peshmerga or even closer to the front.

As well, does launching air strikes to re-take so-called Christian villages recently taken over by the IS forces mean destroying these villages to save them?
