Much as I dislike being manipulated to spread a commercial message, Star Trek fans have to watch this.
That’s full of win. The singing is what really makes it (to say more would be a spoiler).
That was great, thanks for sharing!
Ha! That’s great!
I hate ads and that was awesome.
Awesome. The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins!
I thought it would be “eh, kind of cute” (because I am jaded and cynical) and it turned out to be awesome.
Now, that’s a clever use of celeb pitch. Cool.
Is it me or is Quinto kind of fine?
Not to me, but it’s probably not just you, either.
I find it interesting (if not quite fascinating) that they had Quinto in the Audi. I think they’re trying to position Audi as young, new, and hip, as opposed to stodgy, old-guard Mercedes. But Nimoy is still very much beloved by the people who’ll appreciate this ad. Real Spock is driving the Mercedes, Wannabe Spock is driving the Audi.
I’m sure his boyfriend thinks so, too.
Fascinating.
WHOA! I did not know that! Groff’s a local boy, too. Wonder if he’ll drag Quinto home for visits…
ETA: And no, Sampiro, it’s not just you.
The Star Trek Esurance ad is also pretty good.
His family’s Mennonite actually. And he appears butt nekkid (and frontally nekkid) in a couple of movies with lots of pics online from each for those interested in googling his name and ‘naked’.
I can’t imagine any golfer buying a car with a trunk too small for his clubs. And why would golfers take their clubs out of their car trunks when they get home? They’ll only have to put them back in the next time they use them.
It just doesn’t seem, well, logical to me.
Nor does the fact that he didn’t seem to realise (until now) that his golf bag wouldn’t fit.
Already a thread here.
It would have if not for that Big Bertha driver that’s seven feet long…
