Picasso at the Lapin Agile auditions on Monday and runs through about February 20th, in a tiny little 30-seat playhouse, under a director I’ve never worked with before.
You Can’t Take It With You auditions January 5 at the community college, though they take a mix of community actors and students, under a former professional TV-actor-turned-educator who’s more laid back than the corpse of Rock Hudson on methadone; a cute girl I know, who is probably single, will be auditioning for this (which gives you an idea how far I have to stretch to consider auditioning for it). It runs through about mid-March.
Marriage is Murder, a 2-person play, auditions at the little theater in mid-January and runs through the end of March. The director is unannounced, says the theater’s website.
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof auditions on March 4th.
I could, in theory, audition for Cat and rehearse Mon-Thu and do performances of another play Fri-Sat-Sun. It’d be grueling, but doable.
