I bought “Aura: Fate of the Ages” last night. I installed it (3 CD’s!) and began playing. Really cool, um, look: nice graphics, look, presentation, environment. Easy to navigate, if a bit annoying at times.
Then I really began playing. All I can say is this: this game certifies that I am a total empty-headed idiot. Maybe I should admit myself into an institution or something. I mean, after following the instructions in the booklet, which ends with a wish to have fun, leaving the rest for the player to find out and solve, I get stuck. I have no idea what to do or how to do it. The puzzles are so amazingly complex that I don’t even know what the object is. What am I supposed to get to happen? The journal’s a bit helpful - but even that has its limits.
Argh. 
I hate finding out I’m stupid.
Anyone else have any experience (good, maybe?) with this game? It’s so cool. I wish I could keep playing it. But I’m, like, totally stuck.
