Aussie Christmas display has "mechanical malfunction."

This ain’t your father’s Higbee’s display. An animatronic Christmas display in Australia – ironically entitled “Wombat Devine” – somehow managed to malfunction in a rather inconvenient way. Words just don’t do it justice. Fortunately, there’s an embedded YouTube video in the article that gives you all you need to know but didn’t want to.

Bugger me, mate. I know Christmas is about love and sharing, but crikey!

One way of livening up the season! Pity we don’t get to see the wombat/platypus action …

Bwahahahaha!

Eats roots shoots and leaves…

Too funny–I saw a “dancing” Oscar the Grouch doing that to a toy poodle in a shop window once and nearly injured myself laughing.

Heh! They’ll get up to anything, eh?

The…um…er…Pitcher in the koala video certainly has advanced his…er…um…‘motion of the ocean’ technique. I hope for the…um…er…Catcher’s sake that the size of his boat isn’t too big.

Marsupial Deviance on the SDMB!!

Where will it end?!

I strike in the name of decency!!!ARRRRRGH!
