Tonight at SCA Fighter practice, I went through my little practical test, and I am not officially authorized for “Armored Combat, One Handed (Weapon)” so basically I am authorized for sword & sheild.
This time next week I will be going to my first war. I believe our little barony will be feilding like 18 fighters. Most of the guys are big, agressive, and well armored, our older guys are already making comments that our greatest weapon is going to be inertia and fear of just being run over by us.
Wish me luck, I will do my best to come back carrying my sheild, rather than being carried on it
