Avast Web Shield message - certificate revoked - Slate

Avast Web Shield started leaving me a lot of messages

Just started yesterday, I don’t recall changing anything. I see it with many, but not all, clicks on Slate. I cannot see any problems resulting from the block.

FF35.0.1, Win7

Minor annoyance. Maybe Slate’s problem? Any suggestions on removing it?

A serious search using Google turns up several incidents of problems with Avast Web Shield, many around Jan 15-17 of this year. Nine are like mine, i.e. Slate specific.

Typing error, should read ‘’ **NONE **are like mine, i.e. Slate specific.‘’

I removed Avast and reloaded it and now the message stays up longer so I can report the entire trivial detail .
