What is disturbing about it? I was 15, and that was in 1954, so it seems about right to me.

Of course, the STDs were syphilis and gonorrhea then and more or less easily fixable. None of the"you got me and I’m never going away and and I might even kill you" little horrors.

I wonder why it’s so much lower in the US than in other countries. Maybe Americans just like to brag…
