Does anyone else play these games?
They are made by SpiderwebSoftware, and even though the graphics aren’t great, the gameplay is brilliant. I’ve exhausted every demo on the site, and buying them isn’t really an option, so could anyone reccomend a similar game(s)?
I’ve already played and beaten both Castle of the Winds.

But what are you looking for? Shareware rpgs or good low-spec rpgs in general?
If shareware: Sorry, can’t help you 
If good low-spec: I recommend the Baldurs Gate series. Great games and still pretty good on the looks department.
Great games. The third in particular is an amazing classic.
I remember playing them and liking them a lot, but I can’t remember much in the way of specifics.
Well, the obvious answer to what else to play if you can’t register the Avernum/Exile games you already started (they’re cheap, and worth it!) would be the GeneForge series by the same company. And the Celts vs. Romans one, which I forget the name of offhand.
