Avioding speeding tickets?

That’s what I do. Coming home from Memphis yesterday, I applied this system. An old truck (50’s Chevy) sped by us. About 45 minutes later I saw a Sheriff’s red Durango make a U-turn. I was still behind the truck by some distance so I reduced my speed. The cop speed past me and got behind teh truck. Not two minutes later, the cop pulled it over and I kept going.

I have actually been pulled over many, many times for speeding. I admit that I have a lead foot. I like to drive fast. Of all the times I’ve been pulled over, I’ve been fortunate to not get a ticket. I think I got one about 12 years ago but that was the last time. The rest of the time I give them the big sad brown eyes thing and never get a ticket.

3. Invest in an International Driver’s License. Not only will you be able to drive in virtually any country in the world, you’ll never have another ticket go on your driving record again. The United Nations does not keep track of points or tickets. Your UN license is totally legal for driving in the US as long as it is issued in another country.

Can I really get an International driver’s license after mine has been revoked?

Can anybody verify the truth or falseness of the following? My cousin told me that if you get a speeding ticket, pay it by check, but write the check for an amount that exceeds the fine (say $37.50 for a $35.00 fine). Then the RMV/DMV will have to send you a rebate check for the difference-according to him, if you destroy the rebate, the computer will still hold the ticket as open, and the RMV will not inform your insurance company to post a surcharge.I don’t mind paying a fine, but a surcharge for 6 YEARS is a little much.
