"Awesome" in high wavering voice?

I don’t hear it as much today, so maybe it has passed by already. But in the past few years I would hear a character in a TV show, or a commercial say, “Awesome” in a higher pitched voice with vibrato. Did this come from some specific person or show?

Kids show?
It sounds like something Arianna Grande would say on Sam And Cat.

Didn’t they do it on ‘Wayne’s world’?

Maybe Jim Gaffigan?

Man, imagine if we’ve all got this wrong?

AAAAWK-WARD!

My first thought was Danny McBride in Pineapple Express, where he says “thug life,” but that’s really nowhere near accurate.

Michael Cera said it at least once. Maybe in Sausage Party?

Wasn’t it from a stupid Discover Card commercial?

Possibly. The first time I heard it was a commercial for one of those hotel room websites, the family had visited some crummy room and then used the service to find a nice room. Their eyes lit up as they went in, the kids were happy and one character says it. But it was an animated character and the entire commercial may have been claymation or something. I had to see the commercial several times before I understood what he was saying.

Oprah

It could be Eddie Murphy as Jiff Ramsey in “Bowfinger”.

I think the phrase there, spoken as the OP described, was “Awesome Sauce!”

This is my first thought.

Oprah was my first though, too.

Scrubs? I could see Zach Braff doing something like that.
