The latest National Geographic had an article on a guy named Xavi Bou, who does very usual nature photography: he puts together time-lapse pictures of bird in flight, so you can see the “tracks” they leave across the sky. It’s really, really cool.

A number of those pictures look like they’re of strange singular creatures, like you might imagine flying across the skies of distant planets. (“Ooh, it’s an Arcturian fringed skysnake!”)
Now those are kewl! I wonder if these pics are going viral on all the world’s birdwatchers’ web sites?

They look just like the “flying rods” photos that UFO believers have taken to heart. Those are insects, but a similar effect.
