Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know I haven´t died of dehydration or been taken hostage by the Federales! Everything is going well, so far. We are expecting 23 more people next week, so the encounter with the Federales may seem like a walk in the park by next week!
I will be returning to the States on the 30th, so any semi-legal requests must be made here and now!
Ooohhh. I spent Christmas 1999 with a girlfriend in Mexico. Christmas eve, we were sitting in a hot tub, watching the beautiful sunset and a whole pod (? or is that whales) of dolphin arcing through the waves, close enough to hear thewater sluicing off their backs.
I love love love Mexico…my only request is: HAVE FUN!!!
I’m back home after a fun-filled and booze-saturated couple of weeks. I survived my crazy family (32 people for Christmas dinner) and got in plenty of cool activities. I’m convinced that diving, jet skiing, kayacking, and sailing are definitely a better way to spend the winter!
I also got to party with my cousins, who are among the coolest, most wonderful guys in the world. I had a blast with them on my birthday, and warned them in advance that I might need to be carried home. I spilled a drink or two trying to show of my dance skills, but otherwise managed to keep from embarrassing myself too bad. The following night, most of the family went out for a formal birthday dinner. It was great! Everyone really went out of their way to make my birthday memorable, so I can never again bitch about getting gipped because it’s so close to Christmas.
Thanks for wishing me a great time! Stories and pictures will soon be available.
Well, see, I bought all kinds of presents and drugs to bring back for everyone, but on the way back to the hotel, I traded it all for some magic beans. Don’t worry, though. As soon as my new magic super powers kick in, I’ll dash back South and get some more stuff, really.
