The reason that this allegation isn’t the true one is, and it’s important you pay very close attention here, it’s completely fucking stupid. First of all, people mistake who said what all the time on the boards. Probably happens every day, somewhere on the boards. It’s a commonplace error. Secondly, there’s no reason for glee to lie. She stands to gain nothing by it. Thirdly, there’s no way she’d get away with it. The post she quoted from is right there in that thread, with someone else’s name on it. If she had some nefarious, pit-worthy reason to try to fool people into thinking you’d said something you hadn’t, she’s going to get caught, no matter what. You’d have to be pretty stupid to think that would work.

Prove me wrong! My encounters with glee have been not unpleasant, as I recall, and I even expressed doubt in the OP, and asked for an explanation, and an apology, which would be appropriate if it were an accident or deliberate.

You came out with a lack of cites, claiming a lack of reaserch, published papers, etc., I thought that meant that you had not examined the papers they have written, the research thay had done, their work with other resaerch facilities, and took that wrong.

I apologise for misunderstanding, assuming and saying that your statement was an admission of lack of knowledge of IONS. (Not INS, BTW, as anyone who has seen their website should know.)
My bad. It’s been nearly 10 years. I had forgotten they called their entire organization IONS. I had remembered, incorrectly, that they merely called their magazine IONS Review because it sounded cool.
I read every issue from 1989 until around 1994. But I do confess, I am entirely unfamiliar with their website.
