Can anyone please tell me how baby corn grows? Is it a special plant? If so, what does this baby corn look like? does it look like a normal corn stalk or what? Please help… this is driving me nuts :(.

Great stuff.
SDSTAFF Melis, with a Mailbag item on baby corn.
It is too bad the item is slightly incomplete. Field corn and a specific variety called Baby Corn can be grown into baby corn as it is harvested before sugars build up in the kernals. Ease of harvest, number of ears per stalk and eveness of the rows of kernals and the shapeliness of the ears themselves are the traits that matter.
