Stranded baby Dall’s porpoise escorted from Semiahmoo Marina
It’s a short article. Basically, a baby Dall’s porpoise was stranded on the shoreline. Two Canadian women, a man with a dinghy and a passerby whose nationalities were not stated, and a local photographer led the porpoise out of the marina.
Unfortunately the porpoise appeared to have only been a day or so old, and was weak and hungry. No mention was made of the porpoise’s mother, so I suspect the efforts were in vain.
