What ingredient in Baby Powder quells the bubbles in urine (most prevalent after drinking coffee)?
Do you mean sprinkling the powder onto the bubbles bursts them? Any dry powder will do that with any kind of foam/bubbles - each grain punctures the surface film of the bubble by taking up a little of the liquid of which it is composed.
I gotta ask what prompted the OP. I don’t usually put baby powder on my penis or in the toilet bowl; my urine isn’t particularly effervescent, even if a drink java.
I’d go with the powder bursting the bubble; and think salt or sugar would do a similar job.
Well baby powder in that area is definitely not a weird thing to do especially after a shower; it acts as a deodorant and it also prevents chafing when I play basketball or go running.
Anyway, I was applying powder to my boys over the toilet (where stray powder flakes landed in the toilet bowl), then afterwards I peed into the bowl where the bubbles were quickly “extinguished”
Btw, my pee isn’t wicked bubbly, there are bubbled in there sometimes…I’d be surprised if you’ve NEVER had pee bubbles.
