Wow, I was bound and determined to finally make it to SDMB, after receiveing the email that this was happening. My best thoughts to the Paranookie family as well…and here’s hoping for an update when possible.

It’s a boy! But then again we already knew that. =) Zachary Ryan was born last night around 10:55 PM weighing in at 5 pounds and 15 ounces. I don’t have an official length measurement yet but he certainly isn’t a shorty. 
Mother and son are both doing quite well - Zack (Zach? Haven’t decided yet…) will be staying in the neonatal intensive care unit for a little while so they can watch his breathing and other vital signs but he is doing quite well. They don’t expect any problems and he should be out of there within a week or so.
These last two days have been totally crazy so hopefully things can start to calm down a little (yeah right) so we can catch just a little relaxation before the tempest at home starts.
I’ve posted some initial pictures on our web site (http://www.kaczorzoo.net for those not in the know) in the Zachary section. We’ll definitely post better ones after some of the tubes and wires are removed.
I’m home for a little bit to grab some stuff and then I’m back to the hospital. I’ll keep everyone posted whenever I get a chance to check mail and the like.

Thanks for the notes everyone. =) I haven’t really read any of them but I’ve printed them all out and Tanookie and I will read them while we are trapped in the hospital.
