The episode I took a look at was square shaped instead of wide screen. I know the show was filmed for widescreen TVs; I expected it to look widescreen on Youtube.
The Babylon 5 aspect ratio is complicated
The live action was done on film, but the CGI was done at 4:3 and 480i resolution.
The CGI could theoretically be redone, but not the scenes with both live action an CGI

This probably would have been one of those multitudes of sci-fi programs that I would have *skipped, except for the fact that when it premiered, I was still buying TV Guides, but when the second show ever aired “Soul Hunter,” there was a small blurb with an accompanying pic from the ep featuring actor W. Morgan Shepherd playing the title character. I noticed the alien had some jewel or something embedded in his forehead, which harkened back to Adam Warlock and his Soul Infinity Gem. That piqued my curiosity and I started watching. Lots of great lines in that series, and pretty obvious nods to LOTR.
Shepherd had a rather long career, and once you heard his voice, you’d probably recognize that before his face. He played the prison warden in “Star Trek VI” and was Gooshie the miner in the “Quantum Leap” series finale.

Farscape is terrific, by the way. I was also a huge First Wave fan at that time. My wife and I even named one cat we own “Cade” after Cade Foster from First Wave.
@OpalCat was also a pretty big First Wave fan; it’s one of my main memories of her.
