Seriously, this is really a TubaDiva appreciation thread. For those of you who have had no direct contact with her, you cannot imagine how warm, honest and caring she is. I’ve been there and back and I can tell you from experience that there is not a better human being on this board. Period! We are damned lucky to have her and I will be the first in line to defend her actions and decisions. (well, except for banning me )
For that matter, everyone I dealt with ‘behind the scenes’ treated me with respect and courtesy. Thank you all. As well as to those who participated in the decision to restore posting privileges.
A special thanks to all who sent letters of support. That really meant a lot. What a great group.

I must say that I tend to agree about Tuba. My limited behind-the-scenes dealings with her have shown her to be a very kind and reasonable person with a very warm heart. Altogether top notch.

You know, every single person in that thread at some point misunderstood someone else. It was just a fraking orgy of miscommunication. In this case I would imagine it took a while to rectify the misunderstanding because of Tuba’s intermittent net access.
I don’t know why you want to stir up some kind of shitstorm, Chris, but randomly accusing Tuba of taking out her aggressions on warmgun, especially after warmgun called this thread

My post was meant in jest and in kind. Considering all anger and sense of urgency had been mostly resolved in earlier posts, and all seemed resolved now, I didn’t think a mild-mannered joke was out of place at this point.

I should make a correction to a comment I made earlier- lest Yue Han blow another fuse in coming after me- the part, “I didn’t think a mild-mannered joke was out of place at this point”, should have read, “I didn’t think a mild-mannered jab was out of place at this point”.
A small distinction, but important none the less.
It was a jab, but considering the inside talk on the situation, and the vague references to other threads around here, I personally thought it was within the scope of the topic and theme of the thread, and didn’t think it’d be taken badly.
Why Yue Han takes all this stuff badly is beyond me.
I’m sorry that I didn’t realize you were joking. There are plenty of people who would make that same accusation seriously, and I didn’t see anything to indicate that it was a joke.
Welcome back warmgun, and kudos to you for sorting this out with the admins. Too many times people leave this board in an abusive huff rather than trying to work out a way back from exile; it’s a credit to you that you took the time to find a way back.
