Congratulations! Some fine day (in the distant future) I too will be finished with this round of grad school.
My degree is actually in communication studies, which draws heavily on the other social sciences like sociology, psychology, political science, anthropology and, to some extent, history. For whatever reason, my university has decided that it’s a master of science.
Unless I can find a teaching job, I’m qualified to work in management. Really, I’ll take any job where I can use my skills and that will pay the bills and my loans.
I’m also getting some pressure to go for a PhD. I don’t know whether or when I’ll do that, though. I know it’ll be another few years before it becomes feasible, so I have a couple years to think about it. But for now, I’m basking in my glory!
