Back off, man... I'm a scientist! Or, I done gradutated!

This morning, I got to put on the hood that marks me as a Master of Science, and on Thursday, when the grades are in, it’ll be official.

Because I was the chairman of the Graduate Students Association, I got to speak twice; once at the hooding ceremony, and once at Commencement. They were generic “thank you” speeches, but they worked.

Now all I gotta do is find a job.

I am zonked.

Robin

Congratulations! Enjoy your day!

Shouldn’t that be Mistress of Science?

Congrats!

I was unaware that Science was cheating on his wife.

Congratulations!

Nice going!

What sort of job does this mean you’ll be looking for

Thanks!

Ideally, I’d like to teach, probably at the community-college level. Otherwise, I could do management or something similar.

The eternal choice between a Job of worth morally, or a job of worth financially.

If you can get both, grab it.

Dayum, girl, congratulations! With brains like yours and Airman, I full expect young Aaron to cure cancer.

How wonderful for you! Congratulations! What kind of science are you involved in? Best of luck in your job search.

Congrats to you!

This outfit you’re wearing…did it LOOK LIKE THIS?

Actually, I’m not in a hard science at all. I’m in communications, which draws heavily from the other social sciences like psychology, sociology, political science, and to some extent, history. Basically, I studied how and why people use media, and how to measure those.

Thanks for the compliment. Aaron’s pretty bright, and he seems to have excellent analytical and logic skills. If he doesn’t cure cancer, he’ll be one hell of an engineer.

Only if Science is into BDSM and if it wants to be my bitch. :stuck_out_tongue:

Robin

Congratulations!

No, but I have a feeling that my advisor is going to want to wear that when he grades my project.

Robin

Well done, Robin!

Clap clap clap clap clap

Congratulations!

Good heavens, Miss Sakimoto! You’re beautiful!

What’s your degree in? I thought it was in one of the scientific disciplines, but then you said something about working in management.

I’ll be a master of science in a little over a year.
