I’ll be having bacon in my sausage gravy and biscuits on New Year’s Day.
Put some pieces of ham steak in it too.
I prefer to cook the bacon ahead of time, then crumble it up and save it (if you have the willpower) until the next time you make pancakes. Then just dumb the bacon bits into the batter as you mix it up/before pouring onto the griddle.
Don’t you blaspheme 'round here!
Miracle Whip with SPAM™, or as a dressing with avocado halves is OK. (Especially with the SPAM™, for reasons I’ve stated elsewhere.)
Now, that’s just kooky talk.
Yeah, mine too. Most other things I don’t think of as a bacon recipe, I think of them as other recipes made better by bacon.
Try it! You’ll like it!
Miracle Whip is the Unholy Sperm of Beelzebub, brown-balled through the vast number of his Evil minions.
I will admit that I’m intrigued. I was wondering what I could add to sausage, bacon, butter and half & half to make the dish seem richer. ![]()
Sounds like a combination of red eye gravy and sausage gravy. Seriously, I wonder if the addition of a bit of coffee would make things interesting.
So I tried it.
Thought I was gonna die…
