Bacon vs. no bacon

I have three strips of bacon, if I have any at all. Of course, I’m either a) eating late, so I can have a larger “brunch” as opposed to two smaller meals, or b) having an Egg Beaters omelet and dry toast to make up for the points. (I do make a point of having fresh fruit on the side and loads of veggies in the omelet, so it’s not a total waste.)

And anyone who hates bacon is probably a ginger anyway, because we all know that gingers have no souls.

No bacon at all because bacon does not taste good to me. Too salty. I think the last time I had some was almost a year ago in a breakfast sandwich. I haven’t ordered that type since.

I’m not a ginger.

How many do I insist on?

I don’t really insist at all. I mean, ‘more bacon’ is better than ‘less bacon’, but ‘some bacon’ is better than ‘no bacon’. So if my choice is “one slice or none”, I’ll gladly take the single slice and just eat it slowly

Although I do eat breakfast, I rarely eat bacon with it. So I went with your logic–it takes three to work on a sandwich.

And, KarlGrenze, you may like this bacon my dad gets: it’s precooked and a lot less salty (and less greasy). Its intended for sandwiches.

I think the whole bacon obsession thing is stupid but, given that any place will charge you at least a buck and probably more to add bacon to a sandwich, I’m going to need at least two strips.

It depends. How many strips of bacon are there?
