Bad Movies You Still Love

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Evil Dead trilogy
The entire Mad Max collection
Frankenhooker
Hokey, but still one of my favorites Sound of Music
Amazon Women on the Moon
Night at the Roxbury SCORE!
Porky’s The first one.

I was hoping I could sneak this in before anyone else. But I have it on tape hosted by Elvira, which I bet Diane doesn’t. Hee hee hee hee hee.

I just have the plain old video, no Elvira. :frowning:

You win.
:::slinks off:::

I remember Game of Death. It starred Hugh O’Brian as the villain (Gig Young was in it too, though I don’t remember it). The fight with Kareem is especially memorable for its ineptness.

But one scene in particular stands out. Hugh and Bruce are sneering at each other in a dressing room, and to do one particular shot, *pasted a picture of Bruce on the dressing room mirror * to cover up the fact he wasn’t there.

Ed Wood would have been proud.

Well, you can still win if you have Elvira, Mistress of the Dark

Child’s Play 3 - “Don’t fuck with the Chuck!” Come on, it doesn’t get any better than that!

Bloodsport - It’s on every week on TBS and TNT, and I find myself watching it every time.

Desperado - Johnny 23 is now a knife wielding expert!

Commando - “Do you know what today is, Matrix? PAYDAY!” AHHH, I love it!

Navy Seals - Everyone loves the infrared sniper scope scene!

I Spit on Your Grave–When I was a teenager it was always the favorite at sleepovers.

Female Trouble – while I wouldn’t personally consider any John Waters film bad…many people would…But this is the best of all of them…“Ooooooh Aunt Ida…Aunt Ida, you’re looking sexy tonite!”

And I second (or third) AMERICATHON. I used to have this on tape…and watched it so many times I think I wore the tape out. As a kid, my friends and I would stage little Americathons in my basement with a toy organ. “Give us all your Gold, Gold, Gold!” Jeeze, I’d love to see this flick again!

On that note, isn’t there a website you can register the name of a movie, and they’ll e-mail you when it shows on TV? I could swear there is…and if there isn’t–there should be!

Maximum Overdrive Who doesn’t like a movie with a homicidal ice cream truck? I even have the tape.

KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park - It’s even funnier if you keep in mind that this was intended as a serious action movie.

Mac And Me - I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that it’s the most brazen E.T. rip-off ever, or that it’s also a two hour McDonald’s commercial.

The Breakfast Club - I know a lot of people will raise a howl over me calling this a bad movie, but I never could understand how anyone could take this seriously. It’s just plain stupid. I watch it whenever it comes on though.

BC Rock (which is almost impossible to find, but totally worth it)
Kentucky Fried Movie
Amazon Women on the Moon
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
Better Off Dead
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Pi
Zero Effect
Johnny Dangerously
The Big Lebowski
Point Break
Sniper

The gods must be crazy, Zorro the gay blade, Better off dead, these are bad movies? I didn’t even know. Still love them.

Add to those -

Tremors
Logan’s Run - mmm, Micheal York
Nomads - mmm, Peirce Brosnan
Top secret - mmm, Val Kilmer

Okay, maybe now I’m seeing a theme as to why I like these movies still. Maybe that was rude not to put a “mmm, Kevin Bacon” in. Oh well.

New favorite: “Cannibal: The Musical”

This is definately a must watch. It is a student film done by Matt Stone and Trey Parker and that guy that played Squeak in Baseketball (that movie would probably fit in this category too). A musical comedy based on the true story of a man convicted of cannibalism in Colorado in the early 1800’s. it was later distrubuted by Troma. If you can get this, find the DVD version. The directors’ comments version is definately Oscar-worthy. And the trapper song will make you shit yourself.

Sadly, I do not. :frowning:

Add another to my list Baseketball. Oh my f’n hell, that show is FUNNY!

I simply must point out that my mother-in-law plays the bag lady in Undercover Blues.

Have a Schpadoinkel Day!

Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. Why? 'Cause it has Lynda Carter’s one and only nude scene. 'Nuff said.

YES! Someone else who remembers Space Herpes!
[quick jump to IMDB]
Yeesh - Robert Urich was the good guy? And I thought he was hot…

Oh yes indeed. A shpadoinkle day to all!!

Wow. This thread has gone this long without mention of RoboCop? I love this movie. I have been begging for it for months and months and months. The wife won’t let me buy it. :frowning:

There is a special edition DVD of all three movies and I want them so bad.

I was such a fan of the first one, that when they filmed the second one here in Houston I went to be an extra during the final scene with the uber-Robocop evil guy. It was great.

Have you seen the 4 part tv mini series? It was on last month. Here is more info:
