St Martin has a little neighborhood bar, called Skanky Bar. Owned by a nice family, last name Skanky.
There’s also Jeffreys Amazing Guest House and Auto Parts. The family’s last name is Jeffrey. They own an auto parts store and rent out the rooms upstairs. Cheap. Breakfast involves walking downstairs into the store and helping yourself to coffee.
I like this. A friend recently told me about a pet/hardware store in Derry, NH. I want to see it now.

Here in Sydney there’s a women’s clothing store called “Jizz Fashions”.
Yea.
Last year they had some minor renovations, and changed the sign to something else less hilarious.
Um no actually, now the sign just says “Jizz”.

There’s a car repair place a couple of miles from my house that…well, judge for yourself.
It’s called Auto Ho.
I don’t know if it’s a chain or just a popular name, but I know there are at least 3 Vietnamese restaurants in the L.A. area called “My Dung”.
There’s another Vietnamese restaurant that’s called “Pho King”*. Their slogan is “Pho King - Good Soup!” (The pun is intentional for that one.)
*“Pho” is pronounced roughly like “Fah”.
OK Chinese Food. It’s… just… okay.
We have one Chinese place nearby called “Lots of Luck”. You are going to need that if you eat there. We jokingly called it “Rots of Ruck”.
On Cape Cod there’s a restaurant called “The Angry Tomato”.
Somehow I’m uneasy about eating at a place where the vegetables have so much attitude.
And given all the recent bad news about sleazy home loans, I’m not greatly reassured about getting one at Integrity Mortgage.*
*and more than a bit :dubious: about going to Integrity Chiropractic, Integrity Auto Repair and Integrity Law Practice (actual business names).
There is a catering business in Cleveland called “Sophie’s Choice” …I was dumbfounded.
Slightly off topic, as I can’t remember the name, but for a few years there was a Jetski and Baby Goods shop near where I used to live.
There’s a toy shop / tobacconist in Sale, Victoria (Toys Galore and More).
