Since this thread was about disruptive noise in section 8, so I just share my story that I am going through the same thing right now. It just difference that the OP noises are from a tenant there, and my noises are from unauthorize guests (people who does not live in my housing complex).
You disagree or agree with what I write that is your freedom. It is also my freedom on how I should handle my situation. But calling me spy on the neighbor is not a legit proof, when obvious everyone here know that section 8 are housing wall to wall, walls are thin, can be heard through. There are neighbors upstair from you, next to you, across from you. Spy is when I am looking at their house, I don’t even look, I heard them loud enough, because they never closed their windows even make it worst on the noise.
And I stated, the guests baby cries that even wake the other neighbor dog start barking, please shut your windows at night, no neighbors need to hear sound inside your house. And thank you Chimera, I will check into this. I just hope the tax payer money are helping those actually in needs intead of those that abuse the system.
Sorry to the OP, have respect for the OP thread. If anyone want to debate with me one on one, feel free to message me. I write enough posts stated my case, if anyone think what I write are violations of this site rules, please feel free to report me to the admin, let the admin come here and read my post and have them decided.

Apparently my take on this was pretty much the same as just about every poster on that other forum, that had landlords giving advice.
They found your rantings to pretty much be ridiculous and ended up having to lock the thread bc you kept ranting at the posters there

what i actually said was that ** i myself would not want to bother spying on neighbors,** because my life is busy enough, unless a neighbor is doing something significant (such as dangerous or violent)
I know you’re new, Eileen, but there are a few rules here at this message board. One is you don’t talk about or mention who is on your “Ignore list”, unless you are in the BBQ Pit forum
Secondly, there is a forum we have on here called the BBQ Pit (as mentioned above). If you want to insult members or call them names, call them out in that forum.
