And the, something happens to remind us all what the phrase “bad parents” really means.

Do we have any idea at all why they’d want to strangle and decapitate these kids, then have a celebratory romp in the sack?
Because they’re fucking nutbags, that’s why.
A story I read on it last week said they felt they were “unable to care for them properly” or something to that effect. No mention of why the killing spree ended in sex though.
What gets me is that they kill the kids–awful enough but it happens–but why in the world did they then feel compelled to stab and decaptiate them? It just seems completely unnecessary. My first reaction is that anyone who would do something like this has to be a nutcase, but maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Either way, those kids deserved better.
Here’s hoping they’re at least at peace now.
Isn’t it in fact difficult to decapitate someone? Uggh! This might be my mom’s new argument as to why I’m not the worst mother in the world. (Currently it’s a woman who only killed one of her kids, and didn’t decapitate her.) I’m with SUPERKARLENE - I just about lost it when I read that bit. Ooh baby, you’re so sexy when you’re homicidal!

The way the children were murdered and decapitated and the fact the the parents then had sex makes me wonder if this isn’t some perversion of a voodoo ritual that they performed.
