There was a site I read recently which posited that the defining question of one’s character should not be “Mary-Ann or Ginger?” but “Bailey or Jennifer?”
Bailey or Jennifer has the simple answer of “Bailey”.
Mrs. Peel, however, brings this discussion to a whole 'nother level.

Personally, I pretty much feel the answer to damn near any variation of “Bailey or *?” is Bailey.

I forgot all about Emily Hartley! Or even better, the schoolteacher from The Birds or the wife from Blackbeard’s Ghost! Rawr. I’ve always had a weird crush on her, at least I did before “Nightingales” when she was replaced by some shrewish doppelganger with Harvey Fierstein’s voice.
And I always confused Bailey with Mrs. Kotter/Mrs. Szalinski.
As for the OP: Mrs. Peel is still the winner, easily. But at least it’s getting more interesting. (Mrs. Peel vs. Tara King? Please!)
