We all know that there are a huge number of Bailey Quarters fans on the SDMB. At the same time though, we don’t normally hear about Mrs. Kotter, even though the two are often mistaken for each other.
So, Bailey or Mrs. Kotter?
Bailey. Although I had a teenaged thing for Mrs. Kotter, there’s something about Bailey.

Bailey Quarters [Jan Smithers] was the epitome of “cute.” Why the producers of WKRP wasted camera time on skanky Jennifer [Loni Anderson] is beyond me.
They’re nearly interchangeable, but while Bailey looks as if she ripped off the glasses she’d be indescribably sexy, Mrs. Kotter/Mrs. Szalinski just looks like if she ripped of her glasses she’d start squinting a lot.
Yes, give me a Bailey. I’ll provide the cream.

That said, I’m still going with Bailey.

I preferred Bailey as well, but I must say, Marcia Strassman is still a hottie today. I don’t know about Jan Smithers - she’s been out of the public eye for a long time.
